Taking an active role in helping to improve the lives of others is one of the most important things we can do as an organization. Even small gestures and some compassion can result in lifelong benefits.
Estey-Hoover cares about its people and the communities that they live in. We feel that it is our social responsibility to assist local communities in providing help for those in need. That’s why we implemented the Estey-Hoover Cares program, an endeavor that gives each of our people a day to pair with a local charity or outreach program to provide assistance to the underprivileged. It’s our way of giving back to the communities that have helped us achieve what we are today. We strive to make the world a better place one day at a time.
Estey-Hoover takes its responsibility as a global citizen to heart. Through our volunteer efforts we advocate for issues such as mental health, reading and computer literacy, Multiple Sclerosis, AIDS, poverty, and disaster relief efforts. Our people are free to utilize our communication resources and their time to organize fund raisers, children’s hospital visits, charity races and walks, literacy programs, food bank donation drives, and provide needed support for at-risk children’s groups.
Estey-Hoover has created award winning campaign materials for the United Way; created literature and campaigns that helped bring families in need of counseling to the Family Service Association; provided creative design and support to the American Red Cross’ disaster relief programs; served as a media liaison for the Partnership For A Drug Free America; consulted on creative programs for the Cancer Society’s “Great American Smoke-Out”; and helped create awareness of the quality and variety of the Arts programs in local communities.
Estey-Hoover does these things because we believe that leading by example is contagious and it can snowball into real and effective change.
