We believe in a complete approach when it comes to compensating our employees, beginning with generous salaries and commissions as well as profit sharing and an incredible benefits package. The financial health of our employees is a top priority because we want them to focus on finding inspiration and developing their inner passion.
We Reward Performance
We believe that in order to attract and keep the best people on your team, you have to reward them for the efforts that made them the best in the first place. We make a point to recognize and reward the achievements of our people with compensation as well as accolades.
We Encourage Investment
We encourage our employees to invest in their own future. That’s why we have developed a 401(k) matching plan to go along with our profit sharing. When you combine the two plans, you have one of the most valuable retirement investment vehicles offered in the industry. It’s our way of helping our people invest in the future.
Preparing for the Future
We provide a meaningful profit sharing plan to help our employees prepare for the future. Our profit sharing plan is a vital part of a total compensation package and the biggest employee benefit – something potential employees should seriously consider when comparing offers from other agencies with ours.
Because we’re privately held, you get a bigger piece of the pie. We don’t have to send our profits to stockholders or a holding company, so we share them among ourselves. At the end of each year, a major portion of the agency’s profit goes to our profit sharing plan. You then get a contribution based on a percentage of your total compensation.
Obviously, your annual salary, year-end bonus, and Estey-Hoover’s profit sharing plan are the biggest parts of your compensation, but that’s far from the end of the story. We of course offer medical, dental, and life insurance.
Certainly, other agencies offer significant benefits and salaries as well, but we believe you won’t find a better overall financial package than the one we offer here. The way we see it, we get paid to think creatively on behalf of our clients. We simply like to think creatively in how we approach our financial futures as well.
